It's starting to annoy me. Mainly because I haven't put that much effort in, yet I'm not suddenly fluent in Russian. Outrage. I've learned some interesting alphabets in my time (well, two. Three if you count the English alphabet, but that's only ever really exciting when represented on Sesame Street), but uurgh. Russians are weird. I become overly confident with the letters that are similar to Greek, then get kicked up the arse by some letter appearing from nowhere that means 'shch'. That's FOUR letters. And also not really a sound.

I'm just going to learn the words for 'vodka' and 'toilet', and hope for the best.
